Randy Thiel

Meet Randy “Rand” Thiel — the creative force behind God is Good Ink and Redeemed Ink Tattoo Company. With five years of tattoo experience, including three years full-time, Rand’s expertise spans fine line, lettering, American traditional, and the bold edge of polka trash styles. His tattoo journey began under mentor Jesse Barksdale in Georgetown, Texas, where his passion ignited and never faded.

After 25 years in inertial management, Rand made a bold career shift at 40, discovering his true calling in tattooing. He specializes in cover-ups, combining precision with fresh creativity to transform old ink into new art. Each piece reflects his unique story — a blend of discipline, skill, and artistic spark.

Bugz Thomas was born in northeastern Mississippi in 1971 and proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1989 to 1999. It was during his military service that he first picked up a tattoo machine, a decision that would grow into a lifelong passion and career. As of June 2025, Bugz has 34 years of tattooing experience, having inked clients in Korea, Germany, and the United States. He has developed a distinctive style that blends the boldness of traditional tattooing with the creative flair of neo-traditional art. When he's not at the tattoo shop, Bugz enjoys sketching, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, playing video games, and fitting in a round of disc golf when he can. A proud father of eight—two biological children and six stepchildren—and a grandfather to six, Bugz balances his artistic spirit with a deep love for his family and a life well-lived.

With over a decade of professional experience, Austin specializes in neo-traditional and illustrative tattoo styles, often incorporating elements of realism. His work is heavily inspired by animation, comic books, graphic design, and the rich visual storytelling found in concept art from movies and video games. Each piece is crafted with a focus on bold artistic expression and narrative depth. Known for his laid-back yet sometimes eccentric personality and creative energy, Austin strives to bring a distinct perspective and vibrant presence to every tattoo he creates.
